Special Arrangement for Online Version

Equipment Requirement:

• Computer with camera and audio functions.

 

Game Rules:

• Theme: Use and practice English language skills

• Mode: Online competition with 4 members a team. Questions will be announced through a designated platform. All team members must participate and work together.

• Time Limit: 2 hours. NO extra time will be given to late-comers.

• Rules: Teams should finish the tasks as much as you can within the time limit. Each member in each team can see the questions and tasks in personal account online, but only the answers submitted by team leader’s account will be scored. No bonus score will be given to the correct answers other than those of the team leader.

 

Game Schedule:

• Before the game: Teams need to login to ZOOM at least 45 minutes before the start of the game with the assigned login names to ensure all equipment functioning. A briefing explaining the competition details will also be given. 

• During the game: Participants will login to a designated platform to obtain the tasks. Each team can discuss in ZOOM breakout rooms and give answer on the platform. Only the answer given by the leader will be scored. Some tasks might require speaking or acting. Team leader should call our examiner to enter the breakout room to check their answers.

• Result announcement: Teams should return to ZOOM and wait for result announcement.
